The Oceanic Research Institute (ORI), based in Australia and operating internationally, is an independent source of innovative research and practical ideas for harnessing the opportunities and addressing the challenges of a changing world. ORI works to address the impacts of climate change on oceanic and coastal environments though international collaborative research across three themes: clean energy, healthy oceans & sustainable operations.
My Role:
Supporting the work of the Institute in particular by coordinating research programs.

The Botín Platform for Innovation in Education produces applied research and studies that create knowledge and promote and disseminate the Foundation´s programme.
My Role:
Representing Australia's contribution to social and emotional education in the second international analysis, which reports on research into the state of play of Social and Emotional Education in Australia, Canada, Finland, Portugal and Singapore.

World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF)
About:
The Federation is a UNESCO - partnered International NGO founded in Paris in 1973. Its charter is to encourage and promote the development of futures studies as a transdisciplinary academic and professional field in all parts of the world. WFSF operates as a global network of practicing futurists - researchers, teachers, scholars, policy analysts, activists and others from approximately 60 countries.
My Role:
Rebuilding and expanding the WFSF membership community; broadening the reach of futures studies within the wider academic world; developing introductory courses in futures studies for young people, especially in the less developed countries; creating new research partnerships with a range of organisations and strengthening collaborative relationships with other futures organisations.

Palacký University in Olomouc is one of the oldest universities in Central Europe. Drawing on more than 400-year tradition of higher education it is today a renowned centre for teaching and research. The School for Transformative Leadership, Philosophy Department, was funded by the European Social Fund and Czech Ministry of Education.
My Role:
Advising, consulting and collaboration on projects on higher education and leadership.

About:
CERI is the largest of the nine Sciences Po research centres. Its partnership with the CNRS was first established in 1967.
My Role:
Undertaking research with a CERI historian on "the history of futures studies", in particular, to liaise with and interview former WFSF Presidents to gain greater understanding of the key role of futures studies in shaping the political thought of the mid-20th Century.

The Global Cities Research Institute was inaugurated in 2006 to bring together key researchers at RMIT University, Australia, working on understanding the complexity of globalizing urban settings from provincial centres to mega-cities. The research is highly collaborative, linking with institutions and people around the world in long-term partnerships.
My Role:
Research related to sustainable urban futures, including researching several European cities that were involved with the UN Global Compact Cities Program. |
